Bancroft, Idaho Grainry Fire

Fire Sequence
On March 2nd, 2004, at 8:30 A.M.
an old General Mills Grainry
was set fire for safety purposes!
Being a Deputy Sheriff
I was assigned to do security
and therefore I was in the right place at the right time
to do this photo shoot!
My intent was not only to shoot a sequential
series of photos,
but perhaps Firemen, Law Enforcement Officers
and Fire Investigators could
learn some from the dynamics of this fire
to apply to Arson Investigation.
Also the photos show just how fast flames
can spread, where they go, and just how short
a time this huge structure was gone about
2.5 hours from when it was set it was totally
gone!
Thanks, Gary D. Etchison
